From all over the Overberg, traders & visitors converge at the Elgin Valley Market to enjoy the fresh fare & healthy food that has made the area such a popular tourist destination.

The Elgin Valley is an ideal week-end getaway destination for nature lovers, wine enthusiasts, culinary explorers and adventure seekers. The Elgin Valley Market is a central starting point for visitors - only 75km from Cape Town.

After sampling what the area has to offer tourists can explore the newly inspired Elgin Meander which highlights all the sights, sounds, tastes & magic of the Elgin Valley and placed it on the Map.

With the festive
season just around
the corner, fun and exciting things are planned for December, with trading hours possibly extended and maybe even a special evening market!
Unfortunately there
will be no Elgin Valley Market on boxing day
(26 December) as everyone will most
likely be spending time with family or friends.

There are currently no events.

At present there are
more than 30 stalls
every week from
African Curios to Elgin Honey to locally produced woodwork.
The Food Court boasts
hearty breakfasts, fine wine, cupcakes, deli products, sandwiches, fresh fish and lots
more.
Enjoy some art and
other finer things
in the Bulk Store.
